A

Active Consultant
A Consultant who has made a purchase in the current month.
Alternative Medicine
A group of diverse medical and health care systems, practices, and products that are not presently considered to be part of conventional medicine.
Amino Acid
A building block of proteins.
Anthocyanins
Phytochemicals from the class of flavonoids (pigments) which help to protect the plant from UV damage. Anthocyanins have powerful anti-oxidant activities.
Antibody
Any of various blood proteins produced in response to and then counteracting antigens (a foreign substance, such as a toxin).
Antioxidant
A substance that removes potentially damaging oxidizing agents. For example, vitamins C and E are antioxidants. Also called Free Radical Scavengers.
Arthritis
Inflammation of a joint causing pain, swelling, and stiffness.
Associate Consultant
An Associate Consultant is someone who has accumulated 700 PV in any one calendar month. Associate Consultants qualify for the maximum 30% discount and are eligible to be paid down one generation (G1) on Customers and other Associates. Associate Consultants must maintain 180 PV monthly to maintain their paid as Associate status.
Autoship
A program to ensure that a selection of products of your choice is automatically shipped each month. Autoship may be cancelled at any time.

Bioactive Milk Peptide
A whey peptide that exerts an active physiological function.
Bioactivity
A material that elicits a specific biological response at the interface of the material which results in the formation of a bond between tissues and the material.
Body Mass Index
A guideline computed through a combination of weight and height.
Bonded Cysteine
A building block for glutathione, which is a naturally-occurring protein in our bodies.
Business Builder Bonus
This is a bonus that is paid on new Consultants’ purchases in their first calendar month.
Business Center
A system that allows Consultants to access their Immunotec account 24 hours a day from anywhere on the planet. It allows them to view downline reports, send e-mails and more in real-time.

CMP

Calcium
A chemical element essential for many body functions, such as muscle contraction, building strong bones and teeth, blood clotting, nerve impulse transmission, regulating heartbeat, and fluid balance within cells.
Calcium (Citrate)
Calcium citrate is a source of bioavailability calcium commonly used as a food additive. This calcium salt of citric acid is also used as a water softener.
Chromium Picolinate
A biologically active form of chromium, used as a nutritional supplement. Picolinate, a by-product of the amino acid tryptophan, is paired with chromium in supplements because it is said to help the body absorb chromium more efficiently.
Citric Acid
weak organic acid found in citrus fruits that play important role as an intermediate in the citric acid cycle. Once protons are released, citrate ions make excellent buffers for controlling the pH of acidic solutions.
Compression
Compression refers to how commissions flow upline finding qualified Consultants to pay each commission level to until all commissions on a particular order have been paid.
Commissionable Volume
Dollar amount of an order on which commissions are paid.
Complementary Medicine
A group of diverse medical and health care systems, practices, and products that are not presently considered to be part of conventional medicine.
COX enzyme
COX enzymes speed up your body’s production of hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. Prostaglandins cause the feeling of pain by irritating your nerve endings. They are also part of the system that helps your body control temperature.
Creatine
Is a nitrogenous organic acid that helps supply energy to the muscle cells.
Customer
A Customer is someone who purchases at retail price.
Cyanidin
Aglycon (non-sugar compound remaining after replacement of a glycosyl group by a hydrogen atom) anthocyanins with powerful antioxidant activities.
Cysteine
An amino acid, or protein building block, that is part of glutathione.
Cystine
A pair of bonded cysteine. Two cysteine molecules bonded together offer each other protection against digestion.
Cytokine Modulating Proteins (CMP)
Specific molecules of CMP assist the body manage normal cellular growth; work with the body to repair damaged cells.

Daily Values
Daily values are the dietary reference values that are used on all current US Nutrition Facts labels. These values were determined to best represent the minimum needs of the general population. Most DV's are derived from Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI) and other recommendations made by the Food and Nutrition Board, Institute of Medicine (IOM).
Damiana
An herbal plant found in Baja California, used to enhance energy levels and stimulate muscle contractions and blood circulation. Used as an aphrodisiac.
Dental Plaque
A film of mucus and bacteria which collects around and between teeth. It is the major cause of tooth decay and gum disease (gingivitis).
Detoxifier
An agent that helps facilitate the removal of toxins from the body.
Diamond Consultant
A Diamond Consultant is someone who has 3 personally sponsored active Silver Consultants, has accumulated 125,000 TOV, of which no more than 80,000 can come from any one leg, and have a PGV of 1,200. Diamond Consultants are eligible to be paid down six generations (G1-G6).
Dietary Supplement
A product taken by mouth that contains a “dietary ingredient” intended to supplement the diet. The “dietary ingredients” in these products may include: vitamins, minerals, herbs or other botanicals, amino acids, and substances such as enzymes, organ tissues, glandulars, and metabolites.
Downline
This refers to all Consultants in your organization.

E

Emu Oil
Highly moisturizing oil extracted from the thick layer of subcutaneous fat on the back of Emu. This oil penetrating efficacy into the skin, making it an excellent trans-dermal carrier for other added moisturizers or therapeutic ingredients. Emu oil is also said to have medicinal benefits.
Entrepreneur Consultant
An Entrepreneur Consultant is a Consultant who has purchased the Consultant Kit but has not accumulated 700 PV in any one month. An Entrepreneur Consultant is eligible for a 20% discount.
Enzyme
A protein produced by living cells and functioning as a catalyst in a specific biochemical reaction.
Ephedra
A large genus of jointed nearly leafless desert shrubs (family Gnetaceae) that have the leaves reduced to scales at the nodes and include some (especially E. sinica) that are a source of ephedrine.
Executive Diamond Consultant
An Executive Diamond Consultant is someone who has 3 personally sponsored active Gold Consultants, has accumulated 500,000 TOV, of which no more than 350,000 can come from any one leg, and have a PGV of 1,800. Executive Diamond Consultants are eligible to be paid down seven generations (G1-G7).

Folic Acid
A crystalline vitamin C19H19N7O6 of the B complex that is required for normal production of red blood cells.
Free Radical
An uncharged atom or group of atoms with one or more unpaired electrons. These by-products of a cell’s normal function can’t be avoided, but exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun or other sources promotes their emergence.
Free Radical Scavengers
Agents that can inhibit the toxic effects of beta-amyloid in tissue culture. Also called Antioxidants.

Gamma-Amino Butyric Acid (GABA)
Organic compounds containing an amino group and a carboxylic acid group which functions as the most prevalent inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system.
Generation (G)
A generation is the relationship beween a qualified Upline Consultant and a qualified Consultant in their Downline. Qualification is dependent on the Consultant being “paid as” their rank title during a given monthly period.
Gingivitis
Inflammation of the gums.
Ginkgo Biloba
An extract of the leaves of the ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) that is used as a dietary supplement and is held to enhance mental functioning by increasing blood circulation to the brain. Also called Gingko.
Ginseng
Any of several medicinal plants of the genus Panax, found in East Asia and North America.
Glutamic Acid
An amino acid, or protein building block, that is part of glutathione.
Glutathione
A small protein produced naturally in every cell of our body. It is made up of three protein building blocks, called amino acids. These are glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine. The cysteine amino acid contains a sulfur group responsible for the chemical properties of the whole glutathione protein.
Glutathione Precursor
A building block necessary for the production of glutathione.
Glycine
An amino acid, or protein building block, that is part of glutathione.
Gold Consultant
A Gold Consultant is someone who has 4 personally sponsored active Venture Consultants, has accumulated 30,000 TOV, of which no more than 15,000 can come from any one leg, and have a PGV of 800. Gold Consultants are eligible to be paid down five generations (G1-G5).
Gout
A disturbance of uric-acid metabolism occurring chiefly in males, characterized by painful inflammation of the joints, especially of the feet and hands, and arthritic attacks resulting from elevated levels of uric acid in the blood and the deposition of urate crystals around the joints.
Green Tea
An herb that contains catechins, a class of bioflavonoids, with antioxidants.
Guarana
The seeds of this South American plant are a source of guaranine and are widely used for their stimulating effect. It is a central nervous system stimulant said to increase alertness and help fight fatigue.

Lactoferrin
A red iron-binding protein synthesized by neutrophils and glandular epithelial cells, found in many human secretions (as tears and milk), and retarding bacterial and fungal growth.
Lactose
A disaccharide sugar C12H22O11 that is present in milk, yields glucose and galactose upon hydrolysis, yields especially lactic acid upon fermentation, and is used chiefly in foods, medicines, and culture media (as for the manufacture of penicillin). Also called milk sugar.
Lactose-intolerant
An intolerance to milk and some dairy products, characterized by gastrointestinal symptoms.
Lactoserum
liquid constituent of milk.
Leg Qualification
For a Consultant to be paid at Silver level or higher they must have sales volume coming from more than one “leg” or Downline organization. If a maximum of X volume can come from any one leg, then the remaining volume required for rank achievement must come from the sum of all additional legs.
Low Glycemic Index
Low Glycemic Index foods have a slow and steady impact on blood sugar levels.
Lymphocyte
Cells of your immune system.

Melatonin
A hormone secreted from the pineal gland. Its concentration in the blood varies following a daily cycle. The maximum concentration occurs in the night, triggering sleepiness, with the minimal concentration around noon.
Method-of-Use Patent
A patent that covers the use of a product to treat certain health problems.
Micro-peptide
A very short peptide.
Milk Protein Isolate
A protein extract of milk that is over 90% pure protein.
Milk Serum
A watery liquid that remains when milk forms curds. Also called whey.

Muira Puama
Is derived from two species of small, shrubby trees in the olive family.

Na PCA

Nutraceutical
A non-toxic food extract supplement that has scientifically proven health benefits. The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act requires that this food component be standardized in the nutraceutical product and manufactured under good manufacturing practices. Nutraceuticals are not whole foods, yet are partially or completely derived from them.

ORAC Units
Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity is a widely-used testing method, which measures the antioxidant activity or capability of a food ingredient. The higher the measurement, the better the ORAC value.
Override
The profits generated by the sales of other Consultants working in a Consultant’s business.

PGV

PV
See Personal Volume.
Parve
Containing no meat or milk or their derivatives and thus consumable with both meat and dairy dishes according to Jewish dietary laws.
Peptide
Strings of attached amino acids too short to be considered a protein.
Personal Group Volume (PGV)
Includes personal volume, retail and customer volume and all volume of personally sponsored Consultant lines that haven’t promoted to Associate or higher in the prior month.
Personal Sponsorship Qualification
Personally sponsored Consultants required for rank qualification need to have the achieved title but not necessarily the“ paid as” title, so long as they are active.
Personal Volume (PV)
Is the sum of all volume points developed from personal use orders placed by a Consultant.
Phytochemicals
Biologically active molecules produced by plants that have health promoting properties.
Phytotherapeutic agents
Standardized herbal preparations consisting of a mixture of one or more plants, part of plant or plant material which are used for the management of various diseases.
Plaque

Platinum Consultant
A Platinum Consultant is someone who has 3 personally sponsored active Gold Consultants, has accumulated 1,500,000 TOV, of which no more than 1,000,000 can come from any one leg, and have a PGV of 2,000. Platinum Consultants are eligible to be paid down eight generations (G1-G8).
Prostate
Gland of the male reproductive system surrounding a part of the urethra just below the bladder. Prostate secretion form up-to the third of the sperm volume and play a role in the activation of the spermatozoid. Cells of prostate gland produce the Prostate Specific Antigene (PSA), a blood protein for which the dosage allow to diagnose of follow-up of prostate disease.

Redox Modulating Formula (RMF)
Formula composed of redox couple that allows reversible chemical reaction in which one reaction is an oxidation and the reverse is a reduction.
Residual Income
This is payment for work you did in the past. You get a commission based on what the Consultants you sponsored are doing today.
Retail Customer
A customer who purchases from you at the suggested retail price.
Retail Sales
These are any sales you make to Customers at the retail price.
Riboflavin
A yellow crystalline compound C17H20N4O6 that is a growth-promoting member of the vitamin B complex and occurs both free (as in milk) and combined (as in liver). Also called lactoflavin, ovoflavin, vitamin B2.

Selenium
A chemical element in the oxygen family (Group VIa) of the periodic table, closely allied in chemical and physical properties with the elements sulfur and tellurium.

A protein extract of milk that is over 70% pure protein.
Silver Consultant
A Silver Consultant is someone who has 3 personally sponsored active Venture Consultants, has accumulated 6,000 TOV, of which no more than 3,000 can come from any one leg, and have a PGV of 600. Silver Consultants are eligible to be paid down four generations (G1-G4).
Sodium PCA (Na PCA)
A naturally-occurring component of human skin that is thought to be responsible for an ability to trap moisture.
Soluble
Susceptible of being dissolved in or as if in a fluid.
Sponsor
The person who introduced you to this business is your sponsor. You’ll be the sponsor of the people you bring into the business.

Thermogenic
The process of fat or calorie burning caused by an increase in the body metabolism through the generation of heat (thermogenesis).
Thiamin
Thiamin, also know as vitamin B1 is a colorless compound with chemical formula C12H17N4OS. It is soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol.
Total Organizational Volume (TOV)
Includes all personal volume (PV) plus the total volume of all Downline consultants.
Toxin
A colloidal proteinaceous poisonous substance that is a specific product of the metabolic activities of a living organism and is usually very unstable, notably toxic when introduced into the tissues, and typically capable of inducing antibody formation.

This could be your sponsor, or it could be the person that your sponsor "placed you under" on their team and their Upline Consultants.

V

Venture Consultant
A Venture Consultant is someone who has accumulated 2,000 PGV, of which 400 points must be PV within one commission period. This can be achieved with the purchase of either an Action Pack or individual Immunotec products. Venture Consultants are eligible to be paid down three generations (G1-G3). Venture Consultants must accumulate 400 PV monthly to maintain their paid as Venture status.
Volume Points
Are used for rank advancement and qualification purposes.

Wellness Movement
Being proactive about the quality or state of being in good health especially as an actively sought goal.
Whey Protein
The serum or watery part of milk that is separated from the coagulable part that is rich in lactose, minerals, and vitamins and contains lactalbumin and traces of fat.
